Big Bandit
Hi All, Anyone had any experience with one of these, in particular the C G position. I cannot find any reference in the instruction sheet. The supplied lipo can be moved quite a bit in the fusalarge cut out so the C G could vary quite a bit. Cheers, Chris. Peter 'Ivanna Crashalot' Savage
Someone in my club has one, they are amazing! almost vertical performance, i doubt you will find it dull you could just try 1/3rd back from the leading edge, sorry i do not actually own one
David Ashby - Moderator
Yup, as Peter says 1/3rd back is fine for starters BB
Jonathan Lewzey
seen one fly at the hands of a clubmate. seemed to fly fine, but he did end up replacing most of the radio gear with futaba. whether this was a personal choice or inadequate components i don't know, but i think the radio gear in most RTFs is quite limited. J V R
I think that the qualty of the radio is good for the price & it has the benifit that you can use it on the PC sim as well or buddy with another PZ tx
Big Bandit
Thanks Peter, David, Just waiting for a calm evening to try it, it's a bit too gusty at the moment. I think the next one has got to be the F4U Corsair. As I've got loads of gear I'll go for the PNP version or the new BF109 BNF version, both look really good. Cheers, Chris. Big Bandit
Hi Phil, Just been looking at the Corsair PNP, I've got so much radio gear that any more is just a waste even if it's thrown in with the model. TJ's are doing one for 99 squid so it might be game on for that one. Whilst we were away for a few days in sunny Hapisbough we decided to have a drive to Sunny Hunny and the model shop's gone . Then we had a trundle off to Yarmouth for the Anglia Model Centre and after half an hour looking for the place and spending even more on car parking, guess what it's not where it should be, shut, empty, gone but some kind soul had left a forwarding address . It's now in an industrial unit at the side of the docks. In the end I managed to pick up a nice little Eflight Taylorcraft 450 for 70 squids. just need to find a motor for it now. Cheers, Chris
Peter 'Ivanna Crashalot' Savage
My grandad lives in sheringham and the nearest modelshop to him is in watton, so he has to go all the way down there when he wants something, quite useful though that SLEC is right behind it!
