Dave Y
Hi All, I have been looking all over for a 1/8 or 1/9 ready painted WW1 British pilot but cant find one anywhere! Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, does anyone know somewhere that sells them? My Camel needs a pilot!

Bob Cotsford
It's not hard to make a half decent job of painting a pilot - if I can manage it, anyone can!I use the Flair vacuum molded jobs that come as front and back moldings, a drop of matt or satin paint and they look ok. Dave Y
Brilliant, thanks, don't know why I didn't see those while I was searching ebay!!
Ernie
Hi David, You don't need to paint a lot, Why not try a barbie doll, or similar to the correct scale? Glue up some simple clothes, with thin leather (from old gloves) and wrap the face in a scarf, with only the eyes showing easier to do than to say I'll try to find a photo from my old taube ernie
i12fly
Forget the painting and dolls clothes unless you've lots of time on your hands. Go straight to the Assagai stuff on ebay. I've just bought a 1/6 WWI German pilot and I'm very impressed. Excellent paint job and very well formed. Light too. You might have to wait until he lists again but the wait is worth it.
