Simon Turner
OK, I've just tested my electric setup using my new 6EX and i had an issue setting my ESC, it just beeped a couple of times and didn't follow the expected setup routine (throttle up, beep twice etc) After a bit of fiddling I realised that the throttle was reversed i.e. push stick down was full throttle, I checked the 6EX programme for channel 3 and it was set to normal. A quick Google and I found quite a few articles stating that some ESC need the throttle reversing if using a Futaba. Has anyone come across this, is it an issue (I assume not as I programmed the TX to reverse channel 3 and bob's your mothers brother). i just want to see if this is a well known issue and make sure I won't run into another issue during a flight. SetUp: Futaba 6EX rx = Futaba R617FS ESC/BEC = GWES25A Thanks in advance Simon
Tim Mackey
Its very common, if not universal for Futaba Tx to need throttle set to reverse ofr most ESCs or so I am led to belive - not a Fuby user m'self

Doug Ireland
I forgot to re-bind after setting up the throttle on one of my models once, went to fully open on failsafe instead of closed. Could have been nasty!
Myron Beaumont
Brings a whole new meaning to "failsafe" doesn't it
