Help wanted, i have a Record 250 bandsaw, and it has a broken wheel tyre, idid not think they had tyres on . Anyway i have managed to obtain a new tyre, wonders of the internet. Its the bottom wheel ,the one with the drive belt atatched.the new tyre has to be soaked in hot water to help it stretch, it looks far to small for the wheel The wheel will have to come off to replace the tyre , this is my problem, never having done this sort of thing before and dreading not being able yo put it back together Has any one done thisjob before, better still someone living close to haydock park willing to give up a bit of time ll expenses would be remburst. hope someone can help. regards to all Bernard.

Epoxy is the best i have found, cut a hole in the wood surface and glue them level with the surface.

i had this motor installed in a Radio Queen,on opening the throttle all is well until i reach about three quarters open and the screaming starts,It is on a Turnigy Plush 80 amp esc and a wooden prp13/6 first thoughts were ihe prop slipping,so it was changed for an apc/e again . It was still the same so i changed the motor for the same but bigger ,a4260 this is running fine no problems, it has a 14/7.Have i got a duff motor, has anyone experienced a similar problem. The Radio Queen will go like a pylon racer ,but i suppose thts why they put throttles on yhese new style trannys.

Hobbyking after-sales

Ibought a 100 amp speed controller from Hong Kong it did not work at all I only soldered on the 4mm gold connectors. IT TOOK 6 MONTHS AND 20 E MAILS TO RECEIVE A CREDIT NOTE. This is not satisfactory. Having said that I still buy from them and in over 100 orders that was the only problem.they save us so mutch money even after paying the postage . It would be great if they had a UK based complaints department , and someone on the end of the phone. -

Are you still flying entirely on 35MHz?
edwards flyboy replied to David Ashby - Moderator's topic in Model Flying Polls
Ihave been on 2.4 since horison first launched it in the UK it came as a Godsend and just in the nick of time as our field was being swamped with inerference every Suday from 1pm to 5pm.No one ever found why,but I went over to 2.4 and never looked back.I still have 4 Futaba skysport 6A sets on 35 meg and also my old futaba gold .In conclusion flying is all on 2.4 now with a JR 11X on DSM2. -

Tried them all. I cover a lot of models as i make them for others SOLARFILM. IS THE BEST SOLUTION TAKING INTO ACCOUNT PRICE AND EASE OF USE . IT GOES AROUND CORNERS BETTER THAN OTHERS DOES NOT NEED AS MUCH HEAT AND DOES NOT WEAR OUT BLADES AT AN ALARMING RATE
