  1. I made this, which is proving very useful. It clamps onto a tripod.
  2. Look good to me Martin. I look forward to seeing what they look like with the finished top coat applied.
  3. Thanks for the info Martin, will give it a try on next build.
  4. Hi Martin, I've been keeping an eye on your build - looks good. I am thinking of doing rivets on my next build. What PVA are you using and have you experimented/ruled out other types of glue (Aliphatic, canopy etc)? Cheers. Geoff...
  5. Thanks Martin, the batteries are Zippy 1100's As I had used red in the 'sauce' i was hoping that I would get away without having to use primer, as I am doing all I can to try and keep the weight down. The paint is B&Q Valspar that I had mixed and seems to cover quite well. I might have to do some tests.
  6. I have been doing little bits here and there: Glued one the side air intakes Installed the LiFe batteries, lighting PCB and redundancy receiver as far forward as I could. And added some detail to the cockpit. Almost ready for painting I think. More later...
  7. These are new to me and prices seem very keen at the moment so I have taken a punt and ordered 4 x 4s 4000mah 55c batteries. They are labelled G+Plus - does anyone know if these are graphene batteries?
  8. Very nice Steve. I struggle to get my Provost in the air and would be interested in some details of your bungee device, is it home made? Geoff...
  9. I have a rule that I won't start a build until I have finished the one that I am working on otherwise I fear that I would never get anything finished. I am nearing the end of my current Hawk build and the Mustang has jumped the queue and will be up next.
