  2. Hi GaryG,I'm a Futaba man, but I agree with a colleague's Ron Gray statement that he does not have to give up on Taranis. I do not know if you tried to contact owners of Taranis on the forum?, one of them is our moderator Mr. BEB.I believe he will give you real advice. Merry Christmas Edited By Josip Vrandecic -Mes on 26/12/2017 11:08:39

  4. Posted by KiwiKid on 24/12/2017 22:20:49: Haha yes - I have always been amused by how we try and make things look wintery to get in the Xmas spirit when it's 30 degrees out. It is handy having the summer hols over the Xmas/New Year period and there are other advantages Everyone on the forum Happy Christmas and special thanks to Mr. KiwiKid and his fantastic postcard ... 6. Uhhh I was disturbed by watching this drama .... Bravo Mr. John.
  7. ''Final point, can I ask that you don't potentially embarrass the examiner by turning up for the test with a model you know to be unsuitable - ie below the weight limit. Examiners do a hard job and give freely of the their time, we should not seek to make their job more difficult in my opinion. Enforcing the rules, they are not being "picky" - they are just seeking to apply those rules fairly and equal-handedly to everyone. If they let 890g "go", then why not 800g, or 700g, and so on? I think we should all try to respect their position. Just my view. BEB ''....thank you Sir ! RC flying, in some hand is the transition, toward full-size aviation (and vice versa) thats why an everyone who participates should respect the rules from the fundations .... RC flying ,and flying generally, is not like other ordinary everyday activities .... it requires a lot more....Just my view...
  8. Ever since my 10. year I have not accepted any advice about limiting the best things on the world ... and I never regretted ... now I'm 70.... Edited By Josip Vrandecic -Mes on 18/12/2017 20:24:59
  9. It's nice to have new members coming to our forum...Welcome Peter . I see you fly a some foamies highwing models, so it would be enough for you to start a Sebart, with a note at first a little high altitude and no acrobatics. As for the setting up of the control surfaces I do not like a detuning , because ,for instance, when you learn to drive a car does not set us up for a beginner ... so ... happy flying. Note: Of course it is good to have wingman person near you... for the first your Sebart flight. Greetings from Adriatic Sea.
  10. G/m Stephen ,nice to see ''something'' by hand...Thanks
  11. Hello Pierre , you have an inexhaustible source of fantastic nature......Merci
  12. Hello James, unlike most classic RC pilots, I appreciate and like drone filming , because my desire is a recording of my flights with RC models. That's why I made an observation only on the recording style ,and your style of flying is very good. I wish you all the best. Jos
  13. Thanks a lot Dave ....that's what I was thinking Cheers to all ! To John Robertson:shooting in one frame ,continuous shooting gives better and more visibility for the human eye. Otherwise, ..... piloting is great Edited By Josip Vrandecic -Mes on 13/12/2017 08:48:53
  14. Hello James , All good and interesting but, I would like to see it's filming without editing or with minimum numbers of cadres . Cheers

  20. Hi Harry , model's products from Czeck Republic are generally very good , for example, the electric model's motor AXE (all models) are at the highest level. You can order the mentioned gliding model ... and you will be satisfied. For your information I am from Croatia and I am not their dealer (LOL) but I use their products without any problems. **LINK** Cheers Edited By Josip Vrandecic -Mes on 16/11/2017 11:48:17
  21. Dear Peter, these are precious and invaluable filming. I am from your generation and therefore very well understand and appreciate your RC engagement in those long pioneer times... Note: John Sharman in 9:18 ...a weak engine, tall grass ,short runway and a strong wind did not mind him in wanting to take off. Appreciate
  22. Thanks Peter for this fantastic story....Me thinks that this man also deserves to be looked at : **LINK**     Edited By Josip Vrandecic -Mes on 11/11/2017 12:32:20
