  1. So when we by fuel we get a 5 L container with 1 gallon of fuel in it 4.54609L (we might be paying for excessive packaging?)
  2. Yes cyber crime running up to this christmass is certainly on the up, form previous years exspecially with emails, I've got them from various bancks saying had supisious activity etc and DPD post and other like amason if they send out millions(cost nothing for them) the ods are you will get a couple of hits from the unserpecting. These Days if you get anthing via email never use the links contained in the email , go directly via your browser and log in your normal way. A good help is to get http://www.malwarebytes.org/ (or equiverlent program around) down load the free version or pay - run it for that extra peace of mind. you might find your PC goes faster after? i just find these day you got to be on your guard, but you shouldent have to!!
  3. Have you tryed xoar prop realy good props and a huge range are51 does them and list there three blade range. i have used their wwii and oldtimer ones. http://www.area51-distribution.com/propellers/xoar-wood-propellers/gas-glow-props-wood/pji-three-blades-beechwood

  5. YOu could alays try http://www.bluebottle.com/ for your emails. i know a few who have been using them for years
  6. Nice detail ther Cymaz. Not fllying sat ? weather looking ok so far. or are you just tooo excited.
  7. I have used it over water-based acrylic polyurethane paints with excelant results the best are Vallejo Premium paint and the Warbirds Colours paint very easy to use not smelly my paints of joice, these paint are then sealed with epoxy for good fuel proofing from methonal and petrol. i have painted over other cured acrylic paint with no problem but paints can bee very differnt if I were you I would do a test piece of the particulor paint you have used. Don't forget to mix well and follow the instruction and I do believe you will be happy with the results
  8. Hi I have used epoxy paint as it is hightly resistant to fuels and can be sprayed and brushed I have tried all the others mentioned and always get a problem of some sort or another. Try Klass Kote Epoxy Paints tried and tested , looks a bit dear but a tin goes a long way and it lasts, you can get it here http://www.fighteraces.co.uk/product/klasskote/
  9. Mine throttle well after they have been run in. It could be down to many things from to lean to to rich low and high needles and even over proped. i have only got the 4 stroke and have run them on 5% and a good glow plug os F very reliable
  10. I believe FrSky is actually meant To be said 'Free' 'Sky' a statement to an open and all things on a fair and equal playing field as far as flying Rc I believe
  11. Well I have a Teranis Tx and I am getting used to it and have built a tray for it as i like to be able to scratch my nose during flight with out dropping the tx.. the quality is great and the price is fantastic. If you need a Tx with anything more than basic mixes then this is a serious contender, especially with the receivers being affordable and the ability to add a module for different transmission protocols. I have installed a orange dms/dmx in mine al lready so I can be tempted with all those lovely BNF options out there and it works, very easy when setting up module just tell it to use the module or the inbuilt FrSky transmission.
  12. Hay Cymaz have you tried klassKote http://www.fighteraces.co.uk/product/klasskote it is a epoxy paint the clear is clear and you can use the satin or gloss Catalyst to suit, highly chemical resistant and durable. the Stampe would have never been painted in a true mat finish the paint used for the interior would have had a slight shine to it. As for cost properly the same price as Ronseal stuff but much better (My opinion) for the task in hand
  13. Well he does make sense and the attitude is very applaudable I hope he BMFA adopts the same attitude here . The world is forever changing and adapting / altering legislation/rules is par course. I don't fly FPV but I do embrace its technology and the attraction of new people to this hobby it brings
  14. well I had this problem with one side of my shed when I built it, I resolved he issue by using plastic shiplap clading on that side and on the rest wood shiplap which is cheaper but I can treat with Dulux wood stain stuff when needed. just done another paint 7 years later but should have done it last year

  22. Hi I have this engine and i have run this engine a few times on the bench and I am very pleased, easy start and very little mess. The build quality looks very good and you get everything apart from a silencer, but at this price it is not an issue. I think this will prove to be popular engine given the prices of other petrol 4 strokes so far available. I ran the engine with a 18x10 g-sonic prop and 25:1 (4%) Klotz RC model lube synthetic, I did put a drop of oil in the rocker cover and crank case before start up just to be curtain (It ran quite cool with this oil). Here is a couple of vids I took of it's first run if any one interested. it was in my back yard so very echo'y and you can hear them buiding next door too(hamerin) so not from the engine. i hope to have this in a tiger moth turning a 19 or 20 x 6 prop         There you go, flight1, sorted now - can I suggest you have a look at the forum guides on inserting text and videos, ta?   Edited By Pete B - Moderator on 28/04/2013 11:58:55
