  1. Brilliant Nev great job and you should be proud. Will be back on mine in a couple of months as new workshop now, well on the way and can't do any more till that's done
  2. Happy new year to you too. My build will start again in around 8 weeks, unless i get chance to do a bit in the spare room as new workshop being built
  3. Lol. Hi Danny it's just how it's worked out, i'll probably see it at the Nats at this rate,
  4. Merry Christmas to you too Danny. wont be at a club night until march as i will be on the wrong shift, so hope to see the chippy then
  5. What gets me is how Danny thinks up the idea of what is needed, and then how to go about the process of what material to use and then how to actually manufacture the component and make it look so blinking good on the model.
  6. Hi Danny and thank's. The casting demo would be interesting as like lots of things with this project iv'e not done any so would be good to see how you go about it
  7. Hi Danny, not sure about January yet as not had next years shift rota yet , but can't wait to see it. Cheer's. Andy
  8. Brilliant Danny, i would be cocker hoop if i had done that well, so much detail and your not happy, you must have so much drive to keep up the interest. Brilliant mate well done
  9. Hi S.W. I, like Nev, have left them as built, as Nev said they match the wing and as it's washout it's not a bad thing. When you assemble the ailerons and flaps to the wing all looks fine, it just looks wrong when laying on a flat surface. Hope that makes sense
  10. Hi SW. i had the same problem with the warp and i built mine separately
  11. Brilliant Danny, i don't know what else to say to describe it. i'm no judge but you have to get on the podium with this example
  12. Thank's Danny, but how can you get fed up of seeing that extent of detailing at this scale and if you can't appreciate that then there must be something wrong with them. I appreciate it's not for everyone, but if that's the case don't look The glassing demo would be great too, whenever you can fit it in, and hope i'm not on on the late shift as iv'e not done any before (apart from the odd cowl joining and repair) so the glassing will be my first of many things on this project. Thanks again Danny your a true gent
  13. Hi Danny is there any chance of bringing it along to the A.G.M. if your going that is, i would love to see the progress in the flesh . No problem if not , just would give me a bit of inspiration as i intend to get cracking on mine again as i am only at the glassing stage.
  14. Well done Danny, i bet that was a good feeling to get some flying in after so long, good on ya mate
  15. Brilliant Martin, looking like the real thing
