  1. Another absolute bargain for sale! **LINK**
  2. The crimping pliers I use successfully are "Engineer Micro Connector Pliers PA-09" and can be found on eBay / Amazon. I have tried the cheap ones you can get on eBay but they are useless. Check out this site: **LINK**
  3. Now that OS engine is very nice definitely worth buying (if I had the money!)
  4. Regarding the "paper weight" you could make a derisory offer of £0.99, if he receives several of these offers he might get the message that what he is selling is rubbish.
  5. Have a look in the current Model Flying.co.uk magazine's issue currently on sale (Workshop Special), page 116 "Cutting a cowl". This should help you
  6. I've always found that US dealers are very good both price wise and delivery. The most impressive delivery of a purchase that I had made took just over 24 Hrs - I ordered a camera from a dealer in California at about 3.00pm Wednesday (UK time) and at 7.30pm Thursday I was collecting the camera from my local Fedex depot (after paying the import duty). I also purchased a camera lense from a Scottish dealer at the same time - this arrived on the Saturday!!
  7. Had the "clearcoat" completely dried out - could need a miniumum of 24 hrs. Cracking or "crazing" occurs because the primer/undercoat hasn't dried properly and the thinners/solvent has to escape somehow so fine cracks form so the thinners/solvent can evaporate   Edited By Vaughan Wilson on 13/05/2015 12:28:14
  8. Martyn, are you quoting the correct receiver reference - as Allan has stated Futaba do not list a R2000B (although JR used to supply a R2000 receiver)? The Futaba web site provides details of receiver/transmitter compatibility: **LINK**
  9. John the following link has links to a User Manual, Connection Diagram and a Datasheet for a Wasp Controller and may be of help to you. **LINK**
  10. This could be adapted to serve your purpose: **LINK**
  11. Hi there, try this : **LINK** I haven't actually used it but It seems to be easy to apply and has several finishes available
  12. Try this website: **LINK** Vaughan
  13. There hould be a number on the side of the bearing - quote this to your bearing supplier and he should be able to supply a replacement bearing. Alternatively, see if you can get one from the engine manufacturer. Vaughan
