  1. No problem, I cut 4 just in case PM me your address again, if I find the thinner stuff I'll do those as well, I do have some thick acetate as well, now where did I put it?
  2. should be fine polishing it back, it's only PET Acrylic
  3. Shame, I'll have a root around see if I can find anything more suitable but here is what the 2mm looks like
  4. I have some 2mm PET Acrylic here, I could etch the pattern into it on the reverse? 20mm diameter you say? I'll give it a blast later and post a pic see what you think
  5. If you are only looking at papers I would suggest wet n dry used dry, I use grades 120 through to 800 depending what the job in hand is, but the best tool I have used to date is a permagrit sanding tool, well worth the money and won't need replacing, although for planked ares especially finer grades of wet n dry afterwards makes a big difference.
  6. I went last year (this year), it's a brilliant event and worth the effort of getting there, I'll be along for this one as well
  7. Most of mine are part scale, they never seem to get finished
  8. Posted by mightypeesh on 09/11/2015 10:42:17: To work out how I could make a living from it! Cheers Simon Same here
  9. just a suggestion when sending large files to people try www.wetransfer.com, upto 2gb is free IIRC
  10. There was a little more done, but not much, several other projects and life got in the way, but I will make amends and get this one sorted
  11. WOW! has it really been 3 years! I better pull my finger out and do something with this one, inspired by the Peter Miller mass build, I have decided I will build this one along side whatever the MB dictates, I will be attacking the "projects" room (the store for unfinished models) later this evening to dig out all the parts and find where I got to.
  12. I can highly recommend the Visionaire, I have had mine since the first day of release a couple of years a go, its a very steady flyer, will fly in almost any weather, the 3 axis stabilisation makes it a very stable flyer, I would suggest it makes a very good follow on model (set to non 3d of course) and it gives you growing room. I still fly mine now as my regular hack, I never go to the field without it.
  13. Appreciate that Chris, just thought it might be an idea for a thread with pics etc
  14. Some cracking shots there, how about someone starts a thread on how to fit a light system to a model? whats needed, how you do it etc etc, I know for one I havn't a clue where to even start
