  1. Good photo's Erf, Starfighter is a bit nice John
  2. Looks great Kev, needs a few trees planting though, proper modellers have trees on site Used to have a mini Hype myself, had closed loop on rudder and elevators and didn't come pre fitted, absolute nightmare, turned out to be a cracking model though. John
  3. Like your colour scheme as well Martyn, I share most of your aims but will leave the camping out. John
  4. You are old that's why I do all the fetching n carrying That was also the best photo John
  5. I don't have any telemetry, I will have some when I buy a Taranis. But I don't need it to tell me when its too windy to fly. Telemetry between my ears takes care of that. John
  6. Anyone thinking of buying either model, I can recommend them, both fly very well. John
  7. A couple of models you might see at DVMFC Open Days Iqons Seagull Edge DLE 30 and Jule's Seagull Zero Zenoah 20

  13. Good colour scheme Glenn, there's lots to do. John
  14. Still your designs though Peter, must be very satisfying to see them being built Iqon, I agree it's for flying, but I always stop short on the detail, I get stuck, this time I have other builders to ask questions of. Seeing how it's done in blogs is a great help. I think I can up my limit Danny, I don't have to sit scratching my head on this one, I can ask questions. That's why I joined in, plus I like being involved. One plane I have always wanted is the FW 190, my absolute favourite, I hope to learn enough to build myself a real good looking scale job in the future. A bit of info from Doncaster air museum (who have a Chippie) 616 squadron South Yorkshire where the first Jet squadron, 271 squadron took part in D-Day flying Dakotas John
  15. Mid wing, low wing, high wing loads of models rudder only. Can't really tell from picture WF but looks like plenty dihedral. Fuzz maybe looks a little short but i'm no expert. And I thought you had a workshop now. John
  16. What would you say if you walked past a beautiful model Careful now John
  17. My aviation background ? got none. It was fishing and rock concerts for me as a kid, Loved it, would do it all again if I could First model was a Keil Kraft Matador, wings folded because I used wrong balsa on wing spars. Built a lot of models since, always fly well but I chicken out on the detail, I really struggle with the scale stuff. So that's why I joined in the build, if the talent that's on here can't get me a WOW , i'm a lost cause. John p.s. I want a picture as well, but I can't make my mind up.
  18. Never been to Greenacres either, hoping to make the Sunday, was going to camp but club has 4 events on the trot and I've got to pace myself don't know who's in charge of your weather but he may want to try sacrificing a chicken to RA (asda frozen one, no cruelty). You'll recognize me easy, i'll be the one fetching and carrying for Iqon all day John
  19. I keep em with all the other bits Everybody knows, if you tidy up....you can't find owt John
