  1. Since no one has answered Yes, its fantastic. I prefer the multiplex acromaster as its more robust and flies just that bit smoother. Go for it - you wont be disappointed. Motor wise, Hacker A3016M for ultimate beans, but the Torque 2818T/900 works almost aswell.
  2. Hitec hS 82 MG's are the best. Or Blue Bird BMS MAX 320 or something - around 5kg torque from a HS 65 HB case!
  3. Plastic tail skid in the kit, i think. Works fine, not too good for taxing, but my panic will get off the ground in about 2 foot, so no need to worry! No need for the pipe, it has a baffled (so very quiet) silencer as standard i think, mine does anyway. Easy enough to check if you want to, just take the silencer apart. Power is plenty aswell, I would avoid the pipe so that your throttling remains good. With the 15x6 espically, its very quiet. Rgds, Reuben
  4. 4" back from the leading edge on the top wing is what the instructions say, I assure you this will work!!!!! CG is dependant on the flyer so my CG isnt really gonna help you much. "With the SC91 up front, do you stick with the recommended CoG?"  Yes!  Rgds, Reuben
  5. I assure you it'll be worth it - not that they're very expensive anyway. With the amount of power the engine has your able to do climbing flat spins... so long as your CG is in the right place. I can describe how to do it if you want... not really that diffcult, promise!! Also, the SC is the best 2 stroke ive ever had, started very first flick ever and i didnt bother with running it in, just went straight out to the strip and did loads of random freestyle stuff, never missed a beat all! Oh, started on Irvine 10%. Ive now switched to TechPower 16 or something, even more power (+its fully synth, which is best. I used the Contest at first to bed the bits in properly as its got some castor in it). Reuben
  6. Christ, no idea! I went with where my CG came out TBH... I would not hesitate to go with what the manual says though as it was written by the people who have been flying them for 25+ years!  Rgds, Reuben
  7. Absolutely Nil. We have one running electric with a Hacker A40 10L which did have a 16" prop and still no problems, although we found it performed better on a 15x6E prop. Rgds,   Reuben
  8. Yep no probs mate. Its the 2 stroke. If you wanted a four stroke a Saito 1.00 probably, on Magnum 30 or 20%. So, SC .91 2stroke, on an APC 15x6. This is the proven set up, and what most of us on the panic team use. I did try the JXF 15x6 but it didnt have enough mass to help the model for the 540 degree stall turn. regards Reuben
  9. To get the proper 3-blade prop first find the correct 2-blade one.  Then go with the same make prop and get one which is as close to 0.91 times the diameter of the old one. IE a 10x5 APC 2-blade is equiv. to a 9.1x5 APC 3 blade prop so you go with a APC 9x5 3blader (This is at least close enough for our applications). For most average applications (5-15"props) you do the same as just dropping 1" off the diameter - but go up much bigger you will find you have to use the formula. For example a DA 150 on cans turns a Mejzlik 32x10 2-Blade prop at circa 6700 RPM. Its equivlant is a Mejzlik 29x10 3-Blade propwhich the engine will turn at circa 6700 RPM. Seeing that Mejzlik props are all carbon the difference in power output is minimal. Reuben
  10. Phone up Avicraft 020 8460 0818 they are the people who designed/did the panics, and still do. I've got one of these panic (actually i'm on the panic team) and fly with the unlimited set up. SC .91 - just right for this plane, not over powered but they're is plenty available. Servos I used Tower Pro 995 TG. A good middle ground really. Be more than enough for any flyer TBH. 10KG Digitals. Get these from www.rcartf.co.uk Rx - if you use digitals i would suggest PCM or multiplex IPD (my favourite 35Mhz Rx's) or 2.4Ghz. If std servos then any rx will do. Tank size you can use up to 12oz with no mods. Fly for 20mins to empty with this set up. That should just about cover it. ANy more questions I am sure I can help - so fire away! Reuben
  11. The whole 'my mode is better than yours' debate can actually be quite amusing... ...although I should point out though that all three winners at the BFAC were mode 2....
  12. My Saito 100 has been superb! They will run on 30% which many engines wont, but even on 10% they are fantastic! Mines never stopped, and this is with the tank on the CG (about a foot back). Its good its never stopped cos its spent most of its time about 3 foot off the deck doing 3d Fitted in an Inspire 60. Chris, What kind of a flyer are you? What are you looking to do with your Adrenaline. If you are looking for a competition level version, you want a YS 160/140 or Hacker C50. They are best when kept light. To this end Petrol is not best. If you cannot afford a YS 160, go with a Moki 180. My Moki 135 is a beast! Run it on Model technics Big Brute fuel - what i use for Moki's and, IMO the best fuel for them. Running on synth or Nitro makes them unhappy! Hope this helps Reuben
  13. Fliton Inspire 60 - A truly winning aircraft! Multiplex Acromaster  EF 50cc Extra (I dont have one.... Yet!)
  14. I would suggest the World Models super sports 40. I think that the right name anyway. Alex whittaker did a review of one in RCM&E. Cant remember the month though. Reuben
