1. I have got this and also a superduper asus 3D computer with nvidia graphics and shutter glasses. However i cannot get this sim to work in 3D other than in the lame red/cyan mode. I have tried everything including contacting reflex support. They must be aware of the problem becuase they decline to answer me. Waste of money in my view, unless they can actually come up with some support on how to make the 3D bit work. There is absolutely nothing about it in the "manual". If anybody has managed to get it to work please let me know.
2. Just took a look. Go to Prog Mix 6 MIX THRO>THRO RATE: 0% and -40% SW: MIX OFFSET: 0 Now the TOP LEFT SW (MIX/RUDDER D/R) will switch the mix on and off. And act as a throttle cut. If you still want rudder d/r you will need to put all the dual rates on one switch. I also use this scheme to disable electric motors before picking the plane up after nearly severing my right arm once! Chris
3. Assign the top right switch to throttle to throttle mix. You can also do this if you want to use it as an idle up control. I havnt got my DX7 in front of me so cant give exact details (upgraded to DSX9) but let me know if you want me to go into more detail and I will take a look. Chris
4. Indoor Flying: 6.30pm-8.30pm EVERY THURSDAY excluding school holidays. (If you want to check whether we are flying email me mailto:[email protected]?subject=Indoor[/i]flying ) Royal Manor Arts College Sports Hall, Portland Weston Road Portland Dorset DT5 2RS Flyers: £5 Spectators: Free Juniors(u16): Free if accompanied. Apologies to those members who pitched up to fly after the sea cadet hall was demolished. We were not sure exactly when that was going to happen but we kept flying until the bitter end. Now we have secured the Sports Hall on Portland which is VERY BIG. At least twice as high and four times the area of what we are accustomed to. I hope therefore, that it becomes a popular venue for indoor flying. If you have BMFA third party insurance you are welcome to bring your indoor aircraft and join in the fun. There are a few rules to be observed for the sake of safety, and you will be expected to adhere to the rules ...Chris
5. A high speed card is marked "High Speed" or HP. They are more expensive but I find that my FCO2 is rock solid reliable when using one, whereas if I put a standard SD card in I get the following issues: Slow Motion, video stops before sound, no sound synch, etc. So, yes I would say that using a HP card makes all the difference. To be fair to Acme, they DO say use a high speed card. Chris
6. You cant have too many cubs, I will convert mine to electric with sound when I win it! Chris
7. Link to my movie over Johannesburg (model) International airport http://www.rcmovie.de/view_video.php?viewkey=757c71b88be8adbfd10e I have come up with my first problem: Soundtrack recording fine but out of sync with video which stops before the sound. Guess I need that high speed card, but strange that I havnt come across it before. Oh well, back to the boerewors on the braai I guess! Chris
8. I am flying my flycamone2 in South Africa at the moment. No problems with temperature and it is as good as gold. I will try and post some footage soon CHris
9. Simon. I am not sure if the receiver in the Blade is separate from the mixer/gyro/esc unit. If it is then you should be able to transfer the 2.4 rx over easily. Still using the Skylift gyro etc. unit. If it is one of those 4in one things with the RX incorporated, then I should think there may be problems.
