  8. Interesting read Ian. I am about to paint over natural Solartex for the first time. I am going to use an airbrush. 2 coats of thinned clearcoat to get rid of the weave. Colour coats ( however many it takes to get a good cover) then a couple of more clearcoats for a shiney finish...any thoughts
  9. My sympathies BBC.....Number 1 son working in New Zealand for the past 10 month ( missing him ). Number 1 daughter at Uni in Liverpool ( missing her ). LETS RAMP UP THE BUILDING (2 stampe builds at once to compensate for the loss of offspring)   We have all had child problems BBC now and again. At my daughters 17th party an uninvited guest got high on something then got drunk....3 police vans at the top of our road later...you get the picture Edited By cymaz on 22/02/2013 06:59:30

  12. A club mate built a Nakajima Oscar ( I know its not the same ). He did some research and said that the Japaneese paint was of such poor quality and so thin it used to wear off very quickly. He did a base coat of silver then the top colour and rubbed it away in places leaving a vey convincing weathered look Edited By cymaz on 15/02/2013 06:55:33
  13. Your z bend should be ok. If your worried with it then do a range check as per manufacturers instructions but with the engine running. This will be a really good test...but I don't think you'll have a problem
  14. If all the ready meals that have horse meat in them are made by a company in France, Should we be testing for snail now???

  19. Hey forgot that! Put 3 1/2" Wheels on as well. Its called Wot if. Because I thought when I bought it new....well what if I stripped the plane and recovered it to make it stand out from the other Wot 4's in the club and it went from there really. I am glad I did recover it. the build quality on the wings of mine was shocking.   It's a great flier and a real joy to get up in the sky and handles wind VERY well Edited By cymaz on 09/02/2013 08:57:35
