See what I do.... planes in the bottom wings on top. The foam wrapped piece of timber is a God send. I get more in this car than I could an Escort van.
Wife said one winters morning," my windows frozen".
I said pour some warm water on it.
She shouted ," My computer's wrecked now"

Phil B.....hammer Is to adjust side thrust!!!! No really it is to put restraints into ground. The red box is a wine box I got from my firm last Christmas, great for carrying props.
From my Flair Tiger Moth thread
How much do you cram in to the car for a days flying...I've got Seagull Dual Ace and EPioneer and a Wot4. There's still room left though
Big thanks Jim.. just the sort of info needed. Picking her up tomorrow. I wil re-jig the back seat layout then.
I do have a Vauxhall Zafira so I hope that will be big enough.
Just loaded up with club trainer,Wot4 and a Seagull Dual Ace. It is possible to fit 3 biplanes in it........just
Maybe a thread should be started on how full your car is for a flying day

Hi all
Just purchased a Flair 1/4 scale Tiger Moth with an OS120fs.
Could someone please tell me practicle things....C of g, flying surface rates. etc etc.
Are there any problems that I need to made aware of....weaknesses, airframe faults..you know the kind of thing that comes with the experience of owning one.
Many thanks and will post pictures soon
Greta thread and useful ideas, using baffles to force air into the engine fins will greatly improve cooling....I hope
I am going to have a problem getting enough air to exit out of my Stampe cowl without major ugly surgery. I've made a start by baffles around the engine and making exit holes where I can, see pics
Is there any more I can do??????????
Er..no I am pretty sure you don't. You will need ID though . You will really get a kick in the kidneys on take off, brilliant.
Get my Stampe finished
Work on my turnarounds and straight lines
Take the Meteor to some other flying sites
More in Feb!!!
TISK...TISK....I've now started modifying my Wot4. I have had a few of the trade mark Wot4 tip overs on landing ( these happen at our club if you're not VERY careful/lucky ) due to all the moss and rabbit holes on the strip.
So I've ordered 3 1/2" wheels and am in the process of redesigning the rudder.
I will gladly post pictures if any one wants them.
It's 15mm copper tube. I'm in no rush ...in fact it's quite nice to potter around the model. Richard is busy at the moment. And with all the weather up in Burnley he has probably lost a few days.
I will post the wing construction when they arrive
Thanks for the continuing interest
