  2. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2457811227878150/permalink/2884060751919860/ This is what you want Richard !! Hopefully it comes out ??
  3. Eric The brown paper i use, is the type as used by car body repair shops for masking off panels, so pop down to your local body shop , " for a quick rub down " 😊 no seriously, they probably let you have the end of a roll, as i got, enough to last me the rest of my model building days. 👍
  4. I've only got a 4 channel radio, but i will still be able to have working machine guns, and bomb drop Won't i ?? Mind if i join you in the bunker- i'll bring the beers 😃😃😃
  5. Richard, Do like that, could you produce some drop tanks ?? Or where can i get some from ?? Just a thought. 🤔
  6. Glynn, could you do decals for this one?? Not definitely decided yet , but it's in the running, just enquiring, Cheers Graham ( Cornwall)
  7. yes I can. So your saying re attach the clips and return it - Yes ??
  8. Phil In the job I do, I have access to 7AH batteries, so yes have tried another battery, checked using a "intelligent battery checker" which give a amp hour read out. so you think i will be able to return it ?? using a separate glow stick at the moment.
  9. I've just got myself a VQ FW190, 63" version, which is going to be the home for my 80.
  10. Doc Its a new panel, can't return it as i took the croc clips off the leads and soldered on some spade ends to push on to the battery terminals. Measuring the voltage on the back of the board is 1.6 at the input terminals, then it obviously runs through some components which i can't see, would have desolder everything to look/ track the cct. But at output terminals is only 1.2v, have tried several different plugs and leads, just no glow on plug element.. The meter is not registering in the green band, just below, with no way of adjusting. Was thinking there maybe an easy fix ??? TIA Graham.
  11. I have a prolux power panel mk 3, not had it long, and find when using the glow driver, its not providing sufficeint power to light the plug. With no way of adjusting the output. Anyone else have the same issue, and if so is there an easy fix ??.Yes i can use a seperate glow stick, and my 12v 7ah battery is good.

Although i think RW has done a deal and can get them cheaper ?? Not for me a mines going to be an i/c version 😉
  13. here's the BT one from his early years.
  14. http://flyingscalemodels.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/3/files/2012/07/beaufighter1.jpg hopefully the link above will take you there, however would prefer a kit from Richard, with everything to go with it, cheers Graham ( Cornwall )

  17. Hi Ron Yes its on my bucket list too, the only plans i have found is the TN 72" version, and a larger one at 84 /89" inch can't remember which ??. Its an age thing 😉 but yes have mentioned this to Richard before. I know BT did one in his early years but never produced a plan . So if we can get few more people onboard -- just got to persuade RW to produce a " limited edition special" exclusive one time offer.??? Bonus points awarded --' you get the gist. Pigs might fly.😉
  18. Richard, count me in , 63" preferably, laser80/100. Cheers Graham (cornwall)
  19. Bruce The brown paper i use is the sort that the car sprayers use for masking off. I'm lucky though in the fact, one ofmy sons, owns a car body shop, so have a ready supply on hand. So if you know anyone in the industry?? See if you can "cadge" the end off a roll. It goes along way. Cheers Graham ( cornwall)

  22. Guy's as per the latest pm from RW, thinking of doing "P51D blue nose " with the bubble canopy, my dilemma is :- how / whats the best ideal solution to obtain a reasonable chrome/ silver finish ? Please , without gaining to much weight. Cheers tia Graham ( cornwall)
