Puffed Up Lipos

Is the risk where the pressure inside them gets too big and they pop? surely as long as the pressure isn't too high it should be alright should it not? -

Would it not be better as say a carbon spar? then wrap the cells in insulation tape? Blimey those cells are cheap! -

I don't think I have ever had to use the rudder while landing, maybe its my excellent trimming! I don't know if anyone is familiar with those funny Ian Peacock Hobby Watch videos (where incidently he put the servo eyelets in the wrong way!) basically you just do a square circuit slowly reducing the throttle, that's basically what I do. But it looks like you have a more precise way of doing it BEB

I was promised I could do an rc plane for my GCSE D&T project, when i came round to start GCSE, they gave us a topic, I was not amused! Ended up having to do some goofy money box... Imagine a set of balances with an RC plane on one side and a money box on the other, which one would I pick I like it! and a first own design that flies! Now that is impressive! Psst, you may even be able to submit the design to a magazine after it's been marked, wouldn't want any plagiarism!Edited By Peter 'Servo Scrounger' Savage on 13/05/2010 01:39:07

Oh they diminished into thin air while i was being forced against my will to do college work :D It's not only me who would need to take it and if you think dad will drive 100 miles if he isn't allowed to fly, you are sadly mistaken! Maybe the next 50th anniversary? :P Edited By Peter 'Servo Scrounger' Savage on 12/05/2010 00:19:38

Did you by any chance watch that Richard Hammond program? I don't see why the prescription lenses are so expensive and considering they probably need to be replaced every year it is ridiculous, it almost seems like we are being taxed for having bad eyes -

Faulty Battery Packs
Peter 'Ivanna Crashalot' Savage replied to Peter Beeney's topic in Batteries and Chargers
Could always get more mods *hand up* :D I think especially as this part is such an important one, you would expect it to atleast be partly tested, I guess you just test it thoroughly yourself but that could be time consuming :s -
Faulty Battery Packs

For something that is £20-£34 you'd expect it to be tested etc -
Sorry about my bad language, withdrawal symptoms Took my test plane over the school today, 1:40 into the flight i did a low pass , prop tapped the floor and the folding prop blade instantly pinged off, that made me really rotten Will put an orange GWS one on for next week if i can fine a way of mounting it and of course if the wind will withdraw of course! Chris, you don't by any chance have a large window, backing onto a large field in your hospital room do you? Edited By Peter 'Servo Scrounger' Savage on 10/05/2010 00:01:02
