  1. Details of charger would be handy Tony Garry
  2. I have 16 4000  4s lipos all are able to be charged at 5c but like Leccy says my charger will not put enough power to charge at 5c and having so many lipos I dont run out in a session. All are charged up as soon as I get home. I am able to charge 6 lipos at a time so it doesnt lake long to have them all ready for the next session Garry
  3. Hi Tony If you charger is capable of charging at 15 amp then the answer to you question is yes However most of my Lipos are 5C ones, but I very rarely charge above 1C. Garry
  4. Had two orders from Throttle Store" in Norway, both orders over £100 and no vat or postage charged or paid. Have I done something wrong. They advertise no vat or postage on their website GarryEdited By Garry Pollard on 14/01/2011 18:54:37
  5. Same thing last year Phil  Pulse 40 XT ARTF kit  £139  wing set £110 Crazy or what Garry
  6. If I remember rightly Tony in my welcome  to you I said you were joining the best forum on the net, and thanks to these lads my words have been prooven right. Well done lads.   Maybe you have got your words wrong Tony, instead of saying you have made an old man very happy, maybe you should have said made a happy man very old LOL   Now get out flying   Garyy
  7. Strange you should say that it is not possible to have the posts in reverse order BEB as I think RCM&F do just that and I hate it. Thanks for the tip re default to last page, as like SC I am also lazy Garry
  8. Strkes me we could do with Timbo s input on this one, with all due respects to people who are trying to help. Any chance in the near future BEB? Garry
  9. That is how I read it Andrew but I still charge at 1c as Timbo suggested. He knows more about it than I do therefore I take notice of what he advises. There are a lot of lipos that you can charge at 5c but only if your charger will give out enough, and most wont. You ask if the charger will cut out when charging at 2c. Yes it will Garry
  10. As stated usually 10 per session and I take either 3 or 4 models all electric. I have a stock of 20 4s lipos and 10 3s lipos so do not need to charge at the patch Just bought a Quattro charger so I can charge 6 i lipos at a time with the other two single chargers. Most flights in a session was 17 last "summer" Garry

  13. When they sort you out you will be on 3 tabs a day and an extra 5 once a week Shall we start a medical thread LOL Garry
  14. Hi Steve Wouldnt touch it if it was mine. I would parcel it up and send it to Horizon and they will do it by return and if my experiance with them is anything to go by it will be done FOC  Mine was Garry
  15. Tony Do not give up. It took two years to get me sorted out with medication, but sort me out they did. I was so bad that one night I went to my daughters in the car and had to spend the night there as my hands arms and shoulders siezed up solid and i couldnt drive. It was frightening. I have had sessions when they have had to drain 70 mils of fluid out of each knee and until they did I couldnt walk. this was done on a weekly basis, but not any more . With the correct medication you can lead a pretty normal life, but it takes time. Garry
  16. Hi Tony Dont let the arthritis get the better of you. I was diagnosed five yrs ago at 70 yrs of age. Got a good GP who got me stableised and even though I  am sometimes in a bit of pain I go flying twice or three times a week with an average of 10 flights a session all year round. Its all in the mind and it can be lived with. I have a friend who is a paraplegic think that is how you spell it. He is in a wheel chair and has no use in his hands, but he is a flying instucter at his club, drives himself about and is independent. When i see him , there is nothing wrong with me in comparison. Buy the best you can and go for it Garry
  17. Hi Magoo and welcome to the best forum on the net bar none. One thing from your post worries me and that is you saying that you fly when no one is about, and that you are not going to fly the Hurricane until you are licenced, do you mean by that "insured"  If so please dont fly anything until you are as the consiquences of an accedent are too far reaching to contemplate Also think about filling in your "Profile" you will find it makes your use of the forum even better Garry
  18. Stephen Grigg seems to be very noticable by his absence. Somebody upset him???? Hope he is not down with this flu GarryEdited By Garry Pollard on 06/01/2011 22:00:06

  21. Came back to flying 3 yrs ago bought a complete elec. setup and in the box 35 meg. Buy the same package now and you will find a 2.4 set up. Sign of the times??? Garry
  22. Hi Steven and welcome from me also. My advise is twofold. Firstly learn to walk before  running. You have had two  flights, one bad one good and as the saying goes "one swallow does not a summer make". Practice with the one you have for as long as it lasts, and if the rest of the flights are as good as the second one this could be a long time and very cost effective. The second part of the advise is to fill in a little of your profile as you will get double the enjoyment from the forum and we will all know how to address your problems Garry
  23. Didnt know you befriended the Welsh Ken , thought you ate them lol Garry
  24. As an "Old Timer" I am happy with things as they are and dont need to be patronised Garry
