Brian Hammond
I wonder what the BMFA insurance think about FPV?
Martin Harris - Moderator
I would imagine they think it's fine as long as the legal controls applied by the CAA are adhered to. All other aspects are advisory and will not affect the insurance which is against accidents where the insured is held to blame.

David Turner 5
I'm insured through the British FPV association. The insurance is identical to the BMFA one, I think. £5m. Crown indemnity. Same underwriter (Royal Sun Alliance). The BMFA insurance has nowt to do with the BMFA. It's a commercial insurance product which the BMFA has bought. You can buy your own from Walker Midgeley brokers. It's about £17 a year and covers planes, boats, trains and so forth. The one from the BFPVMFA costs £15 per year ... reflecting a slight discount for numbers.Edited By David Turner 5 on 08/05/2010 16:43:
