J.N.
Used the search for an answer to this query but failed to find one. I have several flat/square Ni-Cd Receiver batteries 700mAh too 1200mAh, they are all Futaba or Ripmax (Sanyo) and give good service, however two of the flat batteries have just about reached the end of their life. I was about to place an order for Ripmax/Futaba batteries when I became aware of the Sanyo ENELOOP range. The Eneloop battery is the new kid on the block and I wonder if it is a suitable alternative to the (now) Ni-MH. In addition, the smallest Eneloop at 2000mAh is twice the capacity I have ever needed and has masses of built in redundancy. Thanks.
Michael Hickman
Hi J.N. Eneloop are a form of Ni-MH, but with a low self discharge. I use the similar Vapextech Instants for both TX & RX. Mike
Andy Green
I used to make my own packs, buy buying single cells and soldering together. But not any more. The Vapextech cells are excellent. I have several packs and one in my Tx. Andy
BB
Enelope are good batteries. I've had no problems with my packs. If your into making up your own packs, they can be bought as seperates aswell. BB
