Anthony Pattison 1
Hi All I just obtained an old Flair Puppeteer kit that seems pretty complete apart from the plans and instructions. Are Flair totally dead now or can I still get a plan somewhere? There must be hundreds of plans lying in drawers out there given how many of these planes have been built - perhaps I can get one or someone has scanned one? Please help as they are bril. models but not so good as a big box of wooden bits! Tony [email protected]
Andy Todd
Try an ad on the BMFA classifieds 'Wanted' section. I got a set of Flair Me110 plans via that route.

Richard Wood
Hi Anthony, Flair are still alive & well I believe. I recently bought a Mk1 Puppeteer plan from a chap on ebay - biggles_rfc , 'Yesterdays Aeromodelling Services'.He might still be able to send you one. The current Puppeteer kit has been substantially modified with a revised fuselage.
Chris Bott - Moderator
Anthony have you seen this thread ? Danny may be able to help, who knows?
Danny Fenton
Hi Anthony, I have the plans but they are of the liteply ribbed version? Not sure if that is what you want, as you say yours is fairly old? Cheers Danny
Anthony Pattison 1
Thanks for the feedback guys. I have had a look through the box Puppeteer of bits that came with a pile of models I bought and it seems like there are loads of parts missing from the kit. To be honest there seems to be so much extra balsa and an unknown number of Pup bits that I think it has all really become a stock of misc balsa rather than a kit! Probably better just to forget it as a viable project and get on with something else! Tony
Bustergrunt
Naahhhh Convert it ti a Tri-plane instead. Easy to make spare ribs with the ones you already have...
