Fury
Some advice needed. I want to start a Tiger Moth 1/4 scale DH82a project over a 1.5 year build. Who does the best kits and plans?? Also what gas engine fits/sounds best? 25 - 30cc. Explanations please on good and bad points. Thanks
Stefan Hafner
One of the guys at my old club had the Flair version with an ASP 120 FS if i remember correctly. Flew really nicely and looked great in the air, sounded pretty good too

Phil 9
As for engines I saw one with the os 4 cylinder engine and it was pretty impressive (but expensive). the forums or say laser engines are what you want for this type of scale model but I have no experience of lasers but I would try to avoid anything that sounds like a chain saw or an electric fan Edited By Phil 9 on 12/08/2013 15:17:
Frank Skilbeck
If you can't run to the OS IL300 then my choice would be a Laser 150 not a gas engine but for sound and reliability they are hard to beat, and who wants to fly a Tigermoth with a 2 stroke, you might as well fit an electric motor
Jimbo565
Fury This was my Flair tiggie, flew very well indeed on a SC180 fs,just sold it about a month ago,its so big I could no longer tranport it. Repaced it with the Premier kit 66" version with saito 82 up front
