nigel simkin Posted February 13, 2015 Share Posted February 13, 2015 Ive done a scaled down version mine comes out at 66% giving me a 60" wingspan, I will be putting a power pod on it, is there any info about how to attach the wings to the fuselage? Well what I did with my SG-38 is simply ran two sets of piano wire through the fuselage, making sure the joints were good and strong. The wings have brass tubes built into them to accept the piano wire, please see photo below. This way they wings are removable. The piano wire is quite stiff within the brass tubes and I have had no problem (to date!) with the wings coming undone. Not flown the 38 in a long time and am looking forward to dusting her off and getting her back into the air soon. I have measured the thrust line in relation to the top beam that runs from the tail to rear wing joiner and the angle difference is 11 degrees. Hope this helps? Will you be using a 3 cell lipo battery?
