'Model Aero Engines' by Mike Billinton & 'Know your model Aero Engines' by Ron Warring. I'm fairly sure a general book on R/C flying such as one of David Boddington's excellent books also covers engines. You can also download free OS operating manuals from their website for an introduction to operating glow engines. OS manuals are generally very good. Alternatively give your local library a try. Engine Doctor Posted March 16, 2012 Share Posted March 16, 2012 Ron Moultons engine encylopedia is a goog book to get started .Although an oldish book ( last printed in the late 70' I believe) all the info is relevant today . you can pick copies up for just a few pounds.
