Neil McCarthy
Could anybody out there help me, will a Futaba 7C transmiter work with the 3in1 or 4in1 receivers fitted to small electric helicopters, or will they only work with the supplied transmitters. We have a blade cx2 which is now controlled by a DX7 (no problem), but I can't get the 7C to work with the other 35mhz helicopters we have using the 3in1 receiver. Ive changed the crystal to the same frequency as supplied with the Futaba transmitter, but this does not help. Am I wasting my time in even trying?. David Martin 2
I've stuck to the supplied Tx with my Twister CP Neil, has a good solid feel to it and all types of flying styles are accounted for. Never felt the need to change really.Have you matched the make of the new crystal in the model to the one that you took out..? I've had issues with the different brands of crystals in the past giving from reduced range to nothing at all. Also you'd need to set up your Futaba Tx for PPM and CCPM if required. My main Tx (JR 2610) runs all my other models but I have fitted a set of 'Instants' 2100NimH cells (http://www.component-shop.co.uk/html/instant.html) to the micro's Tx and Lipo's in the heli for a grab and go model. These cells don't lose much of their capacity over time and I've only charged them once since September. I can always take advantage of the once in a blue moon calm days we have.Good luck. Joe Roper
I have a Humming Bird V3 which uses the 4in1 unit and a T6X Futaba computer transmitter and they work fine together I use Futaba crystals in the transmitter

Brian Daniels
the only 3/4 in one that i know of that do not work with a futaba set is the Walkera, even though it is 35mhz it has something to do with phasing (wot ever that is)

Peter Wood
I seem to have collected too many tx's and would like to get a sky lama to work on a futaba 9c. the Lama seems to have two motors, does it have two throttles, and how does the rudder work.Peter
