Ernie
good morning Stefan,There is a german company called Axel's Pilots...They are mainly directed at the scale glider market, but wow, they are just fantastic...unfortunately, they are ultra expensive. You'll find them on the webernie

Peter Miller
J.Perkins do a whole range of 1/5 scale pilots down to the waist level, They are made in latex and can be painted with acrylic. You can see them at www.jperkinsdistribution.co.uk

Brian Young
Hi all, I'm building a 1/12 scale Lancaster and Catalina, anyone know where I can get 1/12 scale aircrew? I'd like at least 2 full length figures, but the rest could be head and shoulders. I've been on the lookout for 5-6" doll figures (using grand daughter as an excuse!) but they are too toy like to modify. The usual outlets, Pete's Pilots etc only seem to do larger scale figures. JOSELG
Also you can try Alan Hawes (Google "Thepilotspeople"). They have various types of pilots, including full and half body.
