Xoar Announcement Regarding to JXF/Xoar Brand

Dear Customers,

First of all, I would like to thank you for your ongoing support to Xoar

For past 6 months, we have been getting inquiries about the difference between JXF and Xoar. I would like to clarify this to all of you:

  1. Xoar and JXF are two brands owned by our company.
  2. Xoar products are marketed and sold in international market, except China. JXF is only designed for China market only. Any JXF product leakage into International market is unofficial and strictly prohibited.
  3. Two different brands offer different quality level. Xoar as our premium grade products are produced under higher QC process. Specifically speaking, material selection (density, cosmetics, water content level), geometry tolerance in production, 5 step balancing processes, final checkup on rejection. JXF line of products is produced in less effort due to China market needs.
  4. Besides quality level, Xoar offers full range airfoils for different application while JXF brand is only focused on a few entry-level series.

Warnings:

  1. Xoar International will cut off supply to China domestic company who knowingly re-export JXF brand into none-China market and legal consequence will follows.
  2. Xoar will work with its authorized distributor/dealers to stop the un-authorized JXF brand sell in other than China market.
  3. All JXF products outside of China have no product warranty.
  4. We have spotted a few counterfeiters in the market, in PJA, PJG, PJD, PJN airfoil replica under counterfeited “JXF” brand name. Legal action will be taken against such wrongdoing.

Xoar will continue investing in propelling solution to give our customer the best product possible. I would like to ask your help us to catch and stop any un-authorized, illegal product leakage and counterfeiter. Let’s jointly preserve honesty!

Xoar product is sold only under its authorized distributor; please contact [email protected] for distributor/dealer recommendation.

Sincerely,

Advert

That's a bit worrying as I've bought and used JXF props from GC (now GS) on several occasions and have been very pleased with them. They are still advertising them although stock levels are very low.

Interesting double standards by the manufacturing company which apparently sees it as OK to sell inferior products to their domestic market. Are my JXF props unsafe, I wonder, or is there just a need for more balancing work than for Xoar?

I know that they are under new ownership but perhaps the magazine could approach Giant Shark for comment and advice with a view to advising the readership?

Not really possible Martin. It is firm policy on here that GS are "simply another company". And as such are treated in exactly the same way, in all respects, as any another company. We have worked hard over the last few weeks to demonstrate that. And it is my hope that we are gradually getting people to see the fact that GS will not get "special treatment" on here.

But you can't have it both ways - members want the forum to be independent - we are. But that means no "special behind the scenes" approaches" either. We wouldn't ask that in the case of another company - we shouldn't in the case of GS either. You also need to remember that GS are part of MHS Retail - a separate company to MHS Publishing - so it isn't a matter, as some folks seem to think, of "nipping next door to ask"!

Of course if GS wish to come on here and make a statement then, like every other company, they are very welcome to do so. But we'll not be going looking for it!

If goods were unfit for purpose, the claim would be against the supplier as I understand it,but that would be something for the BMFA insurance to deal with, I'd guess?

Meanwhile, perpaps a timely reminder for good pits discipline and operating procedures to minimise the chances of (any make of) prop failure causing injury or damage?

Actually BEB, I thought that as a responsible and independant magazine, it would be the "duty" of a specialist magazine to investigate and report on any potentially hazardous equipment likely to be used by the readership!

I deliberately didn't mention the connection between the two entities! I referred to the new ownership as my propellers were bought from the previous owners and I appreciated that the company might wish to amend the trading policy on these products.

It was precisely because I understood that the magazine sees itself as independant that I thought it worth suggesting publishing advice. As far as I'm aware, GC/GS are the only UK suppliers of these propellers and it's usual for the press to talk to importers for product queries, isn't it?

Martin, appreciate your sentiments but forums can be a useful way of using people to make and spread assumptions that can quickly become 'fact'. The post above (since removed) uses the word 'allegedly' yet doesn't quote a source.

We get this from time to time where one supplier will take aim at another so we're always careful and take pains to make sure we (RCM&E) don't get used by either party. We'll leave others to take the bait on this one.
