the unmagnificent man
Blimey, your quick. Actually it was a different shop down south somewhere but the prices were the same as galaxy which I have just found and returned with the link only to find you have beat me to it. Well done that manhttp://www.galaxymodels.co.uk/offers.asp?offset=-
Peter Miller
I have found that Galaxy gets the goods in the post much quicker than most other shops. I phone up and have the stuff I want next day.I rate Galaxy as the best shop that I know.
Bruce Richards
How about SC52 for £73.99. Saves a whole quid over your price. www.inwoodmodels.co.uk Bruce
Peter Miller
Unusual, I would say send it back. I have been flying SC engines for about 14 years or so and only had one problem, an SC 30 FS with an incrorrectly machined head. and I must have had 50 or so SC engines. including 52s, 30s, a 91. A friend also uses the fourstrokes, he had two 52 FS in a twin, never let him down.Currently I have 4 .32s, 4 .15s, two 30 FS.
Tim Mackey
My SC91FS has been superb in my Spit, and never fails to start and run easily and reliably.
the unmagnificent man
Well done Bruce, It seems Inwood models can beat the price I found on the sc52fs. Even the sc91fs is only £99.99. some model shops are asking £149.00 for that same engine.I have been looking for a Hangar 9 Spitfire recently to wrap around the sc91fs and it seems Inwood come up top there as well with £174.99Beat that!! Says Al with a big smile hoping someone will, saving the tight fisted northener even more cash.Keep the bargains coming. Al
the unmagnificent man
Update I contacted inwood models via email asking how much it would cost me for a Hangar 9 spitfire an sc91 fs a set of servos and a host of other stuff. I quoted all their part numbers and wanted to know how much I could have it for including the postage to France. A week has now gone by and I have not even had a reply. So I wont be sending them my hard earned £300+ (nearly £400) I would have thought that they would have replied the day after. Instead I shall now wait and see if Tony Nijhuis builds the messerschmitt 110. If not I'll build his Spitfire. Or design my own.
Bruce Richards
Sorry to hear your bad experience with Inwoods I have had exemplary service from them in the past but they have slipped up here. I have never tried to email then but that always answer the phone and stuff bought from their web site comes next day. Bruce

winchweight
There quite a few posts on another forum about poor service from Inwoods. Galaxy or SMC for me too.
Tim Mackey
And JE of course. better stop now, as this is turning into an "endorsement for suppliers" thread !
Chris Beer
pegasus get my vote and galaxy
Derek Stevenson
SMC charge extra for Northern Ireland deliveries so I stopped using them. We are all part f the uK and pay the same postage. I bought a kit on ebay one evening the courier wanted extra so I told him to post it by Royal mail, I got it the next day. Must try Galaxy when I get some money! colin milne 2
I got my sc91 from Moore Models for £95 at the Teeside show. I have found buying at shows is rarely beaten plus you normaly get a good day out into the bargain.
