Erfolg
I am currently flying a delta, which I underarm launch. I have found it difficult to self launch, with the trim setting for level flight, at half throttle. The model sagging towards or onto the ground while it picks up speed. I have today found that if I use up trim, an underarm launch has the model climbing authoratively, on each launch. I now want to allocate to a switch two setting, one for launch and the other normal flight. Is the Trim Mix the appropriate method (P102). Or is there another function which is better suited? Frank Skilbeck
Does the 8FG have flight phases, if it does the trim settings are usually phase specific, so you could have a launch phase which has the uptrim in and then switch to normal and those trim settings then apply. Other option would be to allocate a switch to flaps (I know you don't have flaps) and then use some elevator compensation, so when flaps are "activated" the elevons move to compensate.
