dav84
Can anyone help? I am after a m1.7 x 8mm screw/bolt. I have searched the internet and so far have found nothing. If the length is too long it isn't a problem. Dave
Pete B
Modelfixings do an excellent range (plenty more pages to browse!) but the nearest I can see is 1.6mm. Is that close enough? Pete
dav84
That should work, thanks Pete. I knew someone on here would have an answer. Thanks again.
Ernie
Hi, Dave, You can buy old 35mm cameras for pennies. Dismantle them, and apart from a wonderland of miniature engineering, you have dozens of tiny screws, springs, and wee bits ernie
dav84
Another excellent suggestion, time for a bit of investigating.

Andy Butler
I used RC Screws for some socket head M3 bolts recently. They mainly cater for the car boys I think but they do have a really good range and good prices too. Plus if you order two products, you get a free gift! As a modeller, I love free stuff. I bought two packs of 10, 35mm, fully threaded M3 cap head bolts at £1.99 each and got a pack of washers and nyloc nuts to suit for free. And free stickers too - and delivered really quickly. I have no links to them, just a satisfied customer.
