Myron Beaumont
I have a "roll" of black & one of silver I thought I might use to make underside stripes on my Easy Glider for orientation purposes. Will it stick over time & are the stripes the best idea for this purpose .I've read somewhere that they're called altitude stripes . Any tips welcome- I've various colours of solarfilm too. Myron new to foam dept.
Simon Chaddock
Myron I am not sure if EPO/Elapor will stand the iron temperature.
Myron Beaumont
Simon I didn't think you had to iron on Solartrim?(bit like a transfer) Then again I've had it for ages but never used it . Only Solarfilm .
Simon Chaddock
Myron You are quite right it is self adhesive, Doh!
Greybeard
Solartrim stuck to my Wot 4 foam thing OK and didn't fall off when I crashed it. I think foam melts at about 95C according to the Profilm site which is lower than solarfilm needs to activate the adhesive, so perhaps not a good idea. Robin Kearney
Myron, I have used Solatrim on my Weasel Evo which is EPO, it has stayed on fine despite a though life. I didn't bother sanding off the little pimples either. r.
