Tony Read
Its a common problem. There has been a bit of chat about the Hurri on this forum here Might be some info on the prop problem. There is no doubt a fix on RGC but you have to wade through a load of rubbish to find the useful stuff.
Tony Read 2
Looks like one fix is to smear the motor shaft with cyno and let it harden. Gives the prop adaptor something to grip to. Maybe heat shrink might do the same job?
Carl Muff
thats a idea will try the heat sink i did think of glue it on but then how would i get it of
Olly P
Carl - if you did the glue option, put the glue on the shaft without the porp/adaptor, allow to harden, then tighten up on the hardened glue.
Tony Read 2
If you try the heat shrink method don't forget to protect the foam around the nose against the heat. Don't want the dreaded popcorn effect!
Masher
I've flown mine a few times and have now relegated it to the corner of the workshop - it looks pretty but I don't like to fly it. I broke the prop last time out (it doesn't take much doing!) and couldn't source exact replacement so used one from GC - this involved changing the prop adaptor too because of prop thickness then spinner doesn't fit ...... one thing after another....so I got bored with it! Also, my motor was noisey from new and I would only be able to use the U/C from a hard surface - can't get it off grass so you have to do the hand launch as in the video. Probably down to my inexperience but I'll leave foamy warbirds alone for a while! Make sure you have all your faculties in form when you maiden it!
