gerald stansfield
What's the verdict on interference with spark ignition using Spectrum DX7,etc; I think I read it somwhere here where somone experienced problem's. Has anyone had the same?. Ive a few hours in with e/ignition flying, and I had 2 incidences which I couldn't fathom what went wrong, could it have been due to ignition interference?. Gerry. FlyinBrian
Any R/C can be affected by spark ingn systems. Not necessarily through thr RF being picked up by the receiver but by being picked up on servo wires and affecting servos directly or feeding back into the receiver from the leads. Keep all servo and battery wires as far away from the ignition components as possible.
Peter Miller
I had no problems with my Spektrum DX7 and my NGH 9 cc spark motor. Another modeller had serious problems with his big petrol powere model until it was traced to him using a Y lead with a servo reverser in it. Since then it has been completely reliable.
