Martin McIntosh
Hi all, Already put this on my build blog but am trying a wider audience. Looking for a full length pilot figure, preferably WW2 US, about 225-250mm high. Have tried all the usual suspects but drawn a blank so far (and no I am not going to even try to make one). Anyone know of a stockist please?
john melia 1
what about these **LINK**
cymaz
Or HERE HERE - but it is 300mm tall. You can easily cut his legs down a bit as they are only soft wire.
Martin McIntosh
Thanks for the prompt replies. cymaz, I think that they only do 1:4 upwards and that guy already flies my Mew Gull. Probably a good bet when I do my Stampe. John, have phoned them and I may be able to squeeze in a 1:6. Will wait a bit though to see if there are any more suggestions. WolstonFlyer
Have you seen this company. They 3D print the pilot models to any size you ask for and can supply painted or unfinished. The website is not very good so it might be best to phone and talk to them about what you need. **LINK**

Codename-John
There is a bloke in America who`s on RC groups called MPS86, he makes pilots from 1/12 to 1/6 scale, ive got a 1/8 full body US Marines chap on order for my TopFlite Corsair 60 size, very impressive they are too, he doesnt have a website at the moment but if you PM him on there he will help you out send you photo`s etc, mines cost $45 delivered
Doug Ireland
1/6th scale, would that be the size of an Action Man figure?

karl grey
Martin did you take a good look at WF's link? This is a fairly decent price be it a british pilot and not u.s pilot. 1/7 scale is in the drop down option along with painted or unpainted. Martin McIntosh
Hi Karl, I did not see that bit but the prices are a little out of my reach and I would ideally like to do this in American colours. Thanks anyway.
WolstonFlyer
Thanks Karl.. Like I said the website is terrible, they came to one of our club meeting nights to do a talk recently and I was quite impressed. I am sure they have a US pilot similar to the RAF chap that Karl has linked to above and I guess the price will be in a similar range, I am sure if you phoned them they can help with something suitable, but I guess it depends on what you want to spend. p.s I have nothing to do with them apart from attending their talk at our club where they had samples of all of their pilots on display in many different sizes.
