Airline travel with Li-Po's

Interesting that the new Boeing 777X launched at the Dubai Airshow this week will have a composite wing but no Lithium batteries. A case of once bitten twice shy? Emirates ordered 150 of them!!

I see that the Ethiopian B787 at LHR that had a Lithium battery in an ELT catch fire (burning a hole in the Fuz) has now had its tail removed. I wonder how long it will take to repair and at what cost? I can't help thinking that it might have been a write off if it wasn't so politically unacceptable for Boeing.
