Bob , Thanks and even better that you have learnt a bit from the pics, looks like I don't post all my pics for nothing. Can't wait my self to do the maiden lets hope it can happen next weekend. Ton van Munsteren
The first ordered motor at HK is still somewhere in China or who knows where. The second attempt at a shop in holland was better so the motor was fixed in the RedEagle and all worked fine. With everything working great it was Sunday of to the field for the maiden. At the field a final check of the CG and an RC range check and knowing that the receiver was only good for 250mtr, the flight would not go up all the way but for an test 100 mtr would be just fine. With about 50% power and a small push the RedEagle was going up. A little right trim was needed and also the elevator was only 2 clicks and the RedEagle was flying nice,. It looked nice but the weather was not all that great, it was very turbulent so the flight was short but good enough to know that the RedEagle is flying great. Here some more pics. Bob Bertram
That's what I was waiting for. Looks nice and stable and should thermal well. Will put it on my list of things to build. May just jump the queue a bit!
Ton van Munsteren
Yes was going to, but the speed was just a little to slow to climb for the catch. Did catch it several times but the SD card was full to show that, its the most easiest model to catch if the speed is there to pitch up ofcourse. Tim Hooper
Lovely! There always seems to be market for trad gliders (albeit e-powered), so I've no doubt this one will be popular! tim

Ton van Munsteren
David, Iam really looking forward to it and hope to see a lot being build from the pull-out plan. It really is a great model to fly and iam really happy with the design. Two weeks ago had a flight of 90min on the 2200ma pack and even picked up thermals at a hight of 10mtr. Don't tell anyone that the RedEagle can do a roll. Giuseppe, Wooo your in a hurry thanks for the interest. For the drawing you have to wait for the next issue July, but for the parts set go to www.rbckits.com Iam sure he can send you the RedEagle cnc parts set so you can start wilth the build when the issue arrives.
