Tony Bennett
While i was waiting for Auster bits to set i thought i would try this designing lark. i normally build from nothing and make it up as i go along as in my fun fly thread, but this time i thought i would make up some plans first. got most of the fuselage design sorted now, need to do the formers next and then i can think about the wing. thinking of making it a 4' span with swept back wings, just to be different and tricycle u/c. well here is the first draft (no copying now he he )

Monz
Nice shape so far Tony, you can afford to reduce the vert and horiz stab areas quite a bit and add a bit of a dorsal fin. What will the wing plan and dihedral be?
riverlandgirl.
I shall be watching, Tony, I'm sure it will work out well. (You wouldn't really nag, would you Willowlea?)

Martyn K
Hi Tony Watching with interest.. The fin looks a bit big though and I think the rudder (in proportion to the fin) could be a bit larger.. But good luck... Martyn
Tony Bennett
i have altered the fin and rudder now, fin is a bit smaller and the rudder slightly larger. might build it one day.
Martyn K
Go for it Tony, I guarantee that it will be the best model that you have ever built and flown..(it will feel like that anyway) Martyn
