Matt How Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 hi all purchased the taranis a while ago to use it for gliding, however i cannot get the zadig usb driver to work on my pc? the taranis will not connect via usb i cannot find the companion 9x which relates to the taranis anywhere and to top it off i have managed to wipe the sounds and pictures from the sd card. if there is anyone who can help me i would be very pleasd to hear from them. very frustrated matt Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Chris Bott - Moderator Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 Hi Matt To connect the Tx to companion9X software for programming planes etc, you must have the Tx switched on and any warnings cleared before you connect the cable. If you plug the cable in before turning Tx on, you go into firmware update mode. Not sure if this is your problem? But it's worth a mention here. kevin lane Posted March 15, 2014 Share Posted March 15, 2014 I suffered this problem for days before being told by one of the developers that you only need zadig to download updates/upgrades of which there are none yet so forget it. Stick with it, I found it easier to work directly from the transmitter than try to use Companion. If you do use companion remember to set preferences forTaranis. Kevin.
