Tony Read
Looking at the Spy Hawk for a bit of FPV'ish fun. Any comments from owners? Is it no more than a toy?

Tony Read 2
Not bad! Obviously the sun got the better of the camera from time to time. Was that with flight stabilisation on and did you get any FPV drop-out? BTW - great flying site! Paul Marsh
The flight stab was turned off, too boring for me! This was under fairly poor light, with a low sun, so not too bad. Regarding drop outs, it's not too bad, even when a speck in the sky, as long as the aerial is roughly in the line, then it is ok. I bought the whole lot for £60 at a swopmeet last year, the only thing "wrong" was it only had one battery, and bought another. You get about 8 mins min on the battery, more if your glide more. Tony Read 2
Very nice. Seems to glide quite well. What is the area of water near to where you fly?
Tony Read
Just put the batteries in the Tx for the first time and poof! Black smoke! Tx fried. Not a good start. Buyer beware!
