Allan Bowker
Yes, weather was perfect today Ben, let's hope we have many more weekends like it!
cymaz
Only 7 hours Ben! I'm there at 10am and still doing the last flight at 6.30-7.00pm. Anyway, it was a great day wasn't it. Junior 60 purring around with a .30 fs and the DH 60 - g38 pulling it around on 1/4 throttle. Shorts were needed - a no sunburn, excellent. We soon forget the winter afternoon, sun disappearing at 4.00pm and numb fingers and no feeling in the feet.

cymaz
I'm a lucky boy. My wife lets me out until dark if I want. So long as I dig her allotment!
john stones 1 - Moderator
I know we have lives as well as hobbies, but it amazes me why more don't fly in the evenings. The wind drops off and conditions are perfect, and the field to yourself. John
cymaz
You're right of course John.
ben goodfellow 1
me and a freind of mine who just lives round the corner from me , have decided that once aweek we are going to make an effort to get to our field which is about 20 odd miles away , was talking to 3 learners yesterday who were saying its hard to find help .. so we are hopefully going to get 2 birds in 1 , helping learners , and taking full advantage of those windless perfect nights which john mentioned , which im sure are going to be common from now on
