what model and engine size

Recommended Posts

I think it may be a "Challenger", designed by Steve Burgess back in the early 80s for the then new turnaround patterns....... http://scottishf3a.tripod.com/id12.html    If so, yes a good .61 would be the power to go for, preferably on a pipe!

An all black model will be a nightmare to fly from the point of view of orientation so I would strongly recommend putting some decoration or markings on it so that the top is very obviously different to the bottom.......

Thanks guys I will check that out.

You are probabally right about the pipe as there is a moulded recess for one on the underside,

I had already thought about the colour scheme and am planning some decoration to make it different top and bottom. I did think something likt the RAF Tuccanos that are black with yellow flashes but I suspect they are the same top and bottom so that wont really help. I might just do the wings a different colour underneath.

Many thanks all
