Bob Merrett
Well, after 6 years of doing nothing lying it's case, I thought I'd give my Gretsch a clean and treat it to some new strings, boy did it need it. Came up like new. Anybody interested in forming our own RCM&E rockabilly/swing jive band?

Peter Miller
Since you are on about Guitars you might enjoy one of my favourite You Tube films. I play it for time to time. **LINK**

Bob Merrett
Morning Folks! Chris, must show you a photo of my backside one day! Kingkade, Phil, trust me, this is one guitar that I wouldn't want to hand launch, even after I got the Cg sorted! Ha ha! Nice one Peter, I appreciate a good fun song. At least it was a Taylor and not a Gretsch! Good stuff Josip, you must post a photo when it's done. What colour is the body? Mine is actually the Eddie Cochran re-issue that Gretsch made, it's 12 years old now. Keep rockin' Bob

Bob Merrett
Nice blonde Gibson there Jim. You may already know this, but Eddie had a hollow body Gibson prior to getting his Gretsch. He liked the tone of the P90 pick-up so much that he removed the original DiArmond neck pick-up, and replaced it with a P90, as the photo will show.
