scott finnie
Hi all I'm having a nightmare trying to get round my first 4 bolt prop hub. I'm aware I need to drill holes into my prop but unsure if there's a certain technique. I'm worried about making the prop weaker then having prop failure. I'm looking for an ideal 18x7 and how I mount it. Was thinking maple but really not sure. Any advice on propeller brands, materials and drilling would be fab since I really don't want to any failures, a tiny engine can chop digits never mind this. cymaz
Something like this ? Also I use Xoar props, very well made, usually well balanced straight out of the packet.

Adrian Smith 1
Just remember Scott when you drill the holes, preferable with a drill press, make sure the holes are positioned so that there is a clear path from prop tip to prop tip otherwise you will weaken the prop.
