GONZO Posted November 5, 2014 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Have you tried food colouring from your local supermarket? Used in wing skining when using Copydex contact adhesive(water based latex). Its used to give the glue a slight colour so that you can tell where you've applied it and to ensure a uniform thickness. PatMc Posted November 5, 2014 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Phil, you can get tubes of colour pigments for emulsion paint & it's possible that artists acrylic might work. Bob Cotsford Posted November 6, 2014 Share Posted November 6, 2014 acrylic paints mixed in the poly-c will give a tinted effect like using clear dope on coloured tissue for those who can remember that far back. I tried it on the Eros with glass cloth and it worked well except that every change in wood grain or density shows through as a different shade.
