Giuseppe Saroli
Hi all the question is, can you mount a os 26 fs or any other one for that matter sideways or inverted and what do you do with a breeder pipe! there is no reference in the os manual about this Thanks in advance Giuseppe
ken anderson.
hello Giuseppe...yes-mount the motor's anyway you want - no problems whatsoever ...the breather will be ok-as its internal pressure that forces out the residue oil's.....just make sure that the fuel tank isn't way up high compared to the carb on the motor's.. ken Anderson....ne...1 on the side dept. Peter Miller
Yes, any fourstroke can be mounted any way up. The normal reccomendation is that the breather pipe is not more than two inches long. Personally I never use one, but then I am messy anyway

Giuseppe Saroli
Also will I get away by using the exhaust pipe with out the silencer witch has a nipple to pressurize the tank I bit like my old os 120 Gemini with as only the short exhaust pipes and still run ok! Thanks again
Engine Doctor
It should run ok providing the tank is at the correct height and not too far away from the carb. Set the mixture a little on the rich side to allow for inertia effect on the fuel when the model accelerates for take off and climb out. When the tank is pressurised it helps over come the inertia and helps sustain the fuel supply . Without any pressurisation the fuel can surge away from the carb starving the engine of fuel causing engine to cut on take off or in steep climbs .
