Vinegar Dave
I have decided that the helli has had its day and have quite a few 6S lipo's and have started onto the planes and being a bit fresh to the mechanical side a bit more is there a plane that can run off them or indeed build one ? I must have 10 of them but do not want to waste them and 3 are very new.

Allan Bowker
How many mAh are your 6S LiPo's Dave? I fly this Hangar9 Pulse XT60 on a 4000mAh 6S Could be flown on less but she has unlimited vertical on this setup
Vecchio Austriaco
Nice plane and lovely to fly is also the Angel 50 from Sebart Pictures are a few years old and taken in Italy - was my boy's plane. As he lost interest in planes ( a heli person...) I am flying it from time to time. Battery is 6S3000 to 4000mAh VA
Cuban8
I run my Hyperion Helios and Sig Zlin 526 on 6S, 1200 - 1500 watts so loads of power and duration on 3000 mA packs. Better efficiency due to the lower current that's drawn as well!
Vinegar Dave
Do you think it could go in my old Rip max Riot?. Its always been my chill out plane standard out the box so perhaps its time to give the girl to live it up a bit...LOL PS....I have both 3000 and 5000 output batts Edited By Vinegar Dave on 23/12/2014 19:30:
Martin Rowe 1
I have a carbon cub as well! It flys really well. I have 6s 4000 and 6s 5000. Both are fine don't really notice any changes due to the weight diferance.
Allan Bowker
6S might be a bit too much for a Ripmax Riot, check the max voltages for your ESC and motor first. If they can both handle 22.2v, then you will have a real riot on your hands!
Vinegar Dave
I think a nut case come to think of it now
Brian Hammond
The Sebart 50 E is great on 6 cells and I think the Weston Hype would be a good bet as well.

Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
My Wots Wot runs on 6s 3000mAh - lots of power with that set up - and a cheap airframe. BEB
