Colin Leighfield Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 That was always the universal approach, usually combined with some down and side thrust on the prop. The important thing was to always have some long grass to chuck it into for the test flights, that way it stood a chance of surviving long enough to get properly sorted out. For your rubber power stuff you can't beat the Free Flight Supplies web-site, have you looked at it? There's loads of interesting stuff on there.
