fasted Posted June 6, 2008 Share Posted June 6, 2008 This one has got to be lucky for me as I used to look after the two Sea furies which we had at vintage flight RNAS Yeovilton. They were the first aircraft to have a remote compass system and the flux detector installed in the tail could be raised to the horizontal for compass swinging. It was such a powerful beast that i was surprised that we lost one which had to belly land due to an undercarriage failure.
