Martyn Perks
Am trying to bind my new R2000B Receiver to my new F10 J transmitter. Am following the proceedure in the manual but the red light stays solid and the link mode times out. Anybody know what the problem is? It's gotta be something I'm doing wrong
simon barr
Make sure that the transmitter is set to the correct Rx mode, Martyn. I think the 10J transmits in two different FHSS settings...
The Wright Stuff
Try putting the Tx and Rx right up close next to each other. If you have WiFi in range, that can affect the ease of binding.
Rick Tee
Try with the Tx at least 2mtrs from the Rx, had this problem with Spektrum, guessing its RF swamping. Don't know how true this is but I did read somewhere that florescent lights can interfere with binding.
Allan Bennett
I can't find any details of a Futaba R2000B receiver, and it's not listed as compatible in the 10J transmitter manual. But assuming that it's a valid receiver, it maybe won't bind if you have the RX System set wrongly in the MDL-SEL menu.
Vaughan Wilson
Martyn, are you quoting the correct receiver reference - as Allan has stated Futaba do not list a R2000B (although JR used to supply a R2000 receiver)? The Futaba web site provides details of receiver/transmitter compatibility: **LINK**
