Tony's Bronco flies!

Recommended Posts

No... the aim is Cosford but there's still another 50min of test flying to do and then the finishing to do Just changed the props from 23x8 to 22x10 menz and fitting inlet trumpets so I'm hoping for a little more performance and takeoff speed........Took nine attempts at the Hastings club strip before she lifted for the first flight and that only happend when the wind picked up to 10 knotts.

Aiming for Friday this week to finish the hour of test flying.

Another three flights today (friday) and the model is get ting better and better. I changed the props on the first flight this morning from 23x8 to 22x10 and boy what a difference.

The model needs about 20 deg of flap and 50m run before she will rotate....an absolute peach to fly with no vices what so ever.

Took some video today so I'll get David Ashby to post it on the home page next week

With luck the test flying should be complete by early next week and then hope is to have her ready for Cosford

Thanks for all your kind comment and support .......  Its very much appreciated

Happy Days

Tony
